the wedding of Hannah and Will

PLease rsvp by 30 may

We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding with you on Saturday 14 November 2026 at Gwavas Garden and Homestead.

We’re really looking forward to having all our favourite people together for this happy celebration. Many of you are traveling for the occasion and we are really appreciate the time taken and distances travelled! We’re very lucky that the owners of Gwavas are relaxed (if you ask nicely they’ll let you do almost anything!), so we’re in for a special few days. If you need accommodation suggestions nearby, or want help organising carpooling to and from the venue, just reach out — we’re very happy to help.

❋ Arrival Time

On the day, please arrive from 3.00pm, ready for a 3.30pm ceremony.

After the ceremony we’ll head straight into cocktail hour, followed later by a sit‑down meal, music, and dancing for the rest of the night.

❋ Transport

There will be a bus returning to Havelock North at 1.00am, and there is also plenty of parking available at the venue if you’re driving.

Carpooling can also be coordinated.

❋ Dress Code

Formal, with garden party flair
Men are encouraged to wear suits or blazers, and women formal dresses. Ladies, we’d love to see colour, prints, and joyful summer elegance!

The ceremony will be outdoors, so heels suitable for grass are recommended. It may be worth bringing a light layer for later in the evening.

❋ Contact Info

If you have any questions at all — accommodation, transport, or anything else — feel free to get in touch:

❋ Glamping

For the glamping ‘youths’, please see the below info. As you know, the hire of the tents is a two night minimum so you’re welcome to stay on for the Sunday night. We will share the offical booking link separately. Showers will be available, and more general information will be shared closer to the time.

❋ The Day After

On Sunday, we’re keeping things very casual. This day is open for anyone that wants to pop in, those staying in the glamping tents, along with family and friends who are still around. We’ll be hanging around the house and gardens, with everyone bringing bits and pieces to share for breakfast, lunch, and the BBQ. Please BYO drinks for the day.

There’ll be some casual games on offer, lots of time to catch up properly, and some of the boys will likely head down to Onga Golf Course for a round of golf. In the evening, Pipi’s Pizza Truck will be on site, with pizzas available to purchase, and we’ll finish the weekend with a fun dress‑up themed night, more music, and one last get‑together. Theme to be confirmed closer to the time!

❋ Gifts

Your presence is genuinely the best gift we could ask for. If you do feel inclined to give something, we’d be very grateful for a gift of your choosing or a contribution towards our next chapter together. If you’d like a bit of guidance, we’ve linked a small list below.
